Habitat For Humanity Faiths build
January 31st, 2010Constructing a Habitat home gives a hand up, not a hand out to low income working families working to break the cycle of poverty through home ownership. A Habitat partner family will purchase the home with an investment of their own sweat equity and pay an interest-free mortgage. They will feel the pride of homeownership every time they walk through their front door. The Alfaro family, Lily and her two young sons, are busily working on completing sweat equity hours and preparing to own their first home.
